- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Peterson is amazing. He happened to be the on-call doc when my first child was born. Before I left the hospital, he came back (on his off day) to review the "newborn care" book the hospital gives you and spent over an hour with me to make sure I felt comfortable. Later, when y daughter stopped eating for two days, he checked on her each day and told me that if she had any change in her symptoms while we waited for test results to page him and he would meet me at the office even if it was 3am. He seemed to be as concerned about my child as he his for his own child. I never felt rushed, I never had to wait long, I never left with unanswered questions, and I can't say enough good things about him. When my second child was born I got the same great treatment as I did for the first. In addition, their new office is amazing. The staff is incredible, the nurses competent and kind. They have state-of the art equipment, and with each checkup I left with a print out of my child's height and weight growth chart (which was fun for the baby books). They do little things like bring in two nurses to give babies their shots and do the shots at the same time so babies don't have to be repeatedly pricked, and call back within the hour to answer questions. I was always able to get appointments, sometimes within the hour. And for those things that are between urgent and emergency, they fit you in instantly. When I went to get my kids' medical records before we moved, I was tearing up at the thought of leaving this doc and trying to find another one as good as him. My father is a physician and I always felt like Dr. Peterson gave my children the same kind of attention that my own dad gave me. I still haven't found a doc that compares to Dr. Peterson.
